Bye Bye Summer....

Sadly our summer has come to end. School starts Monday and in order to get my daughter ready and thinking about school I gave her a little project to work on: making a carousel for all her supplies.

We bought a Lazy Susan from IKEA, really inexpensive too, found some cute pals in her favorite colors at  Target ( in the dollar section).    My husband predrilled  holes into the pales and  the lazy susan, then we let Elle attach the pals with screws to the lazy susan. Once she had all the pals where she wanted them she filled each pal with her pens, pencils, erasers, markers, colored pencils, glue, rulers  etc.  Now she has easy access to all her necessary supplies and she likes making the lazy susan spin. :)

Hey Amber - you're NOT kidding about Language Arts! It took Drew forever and she was ready for her break when she finally finished it. (I've promised them breaks between subjects). Overall though, I think it went well.

I do sell my photography on etsy. I really enjoy it (I've sent photos from NY to CA, and one to Australia too). Etsy lets you set up your own (personalized) shop, and it's free, well other than the 20 cents to post an item (and that lasts in your shop for (something like) 3 months).

Anyway, check out etsy.com (and its FAQs) and if you have any other questions, give me a hollar. I would be happy to help!

You have really beautiful photos that would sell well! ♥
